Short Course on Coastal Processes & Morphology

This course addresses the key hydrodynamic and morphodynamic processes that govern coastal change at different space-time scales. It covers aspects such as the cross-shore wave action balance, infragravity waves, cross-shore currents, longshore currents, rip currents, sediment transport, beach morphodynamics, tidal inlets, estuarine dynamics and salt intrusion, barrier island dynamics, and complex environments such as reefs and mangroves.
