Scientific Steering Group
The Scientific Steering Group (SSG) leads the Academy in setting objectives and targets, representing the organization in WCRP-wide meetings and conferences, and initiating projects and events aligned with the Academy's goals. The SSG is currently composed of eight highly competent and renowned scientists from diverse ethnic and scientific backgrounds, ensuring diversity and inclusion.

Support Unit
Manila Observatory
The Support Unit (SU) is hosted by the Manila Observatory, a non-profit research institution located within the Ateneo de Manila University campus in the Philippines. Advancing diversity and promoting scholarship outside the Global North, this is the first SU within the entire WCRP network to be located in the Global South.
