Dinah Faye Balleco: Researcher and Climate Justice Advocate

Dinah Faye Balleco is an emerging expert in climate justice, policy research, and youth mobilization, with a strong foundation in political science and environmental advocacy in the Philippine context. Her experience spans institutional research, grassroots climate action, and multilingual content creation—bridging academic insight with civic engagement. Currently serving as Project Staff at the Manila Observatory’s Klima Center, Dinah supports policy translation, fieldwork coordination, and community resilience strategies in collaboration with scientists and local stakeholders.

Her work emphasizes inclusive climate governance, youth participation, and the protection of environmental defenders—grounded in both scholarly rigor and lived realities of vulnerable communities. Through leadership roles in regional organizations such as Youth for Climate Justice in Mindanao, Dinah is helping shape next-generation advocacy centered on equity, sustainability, and democratic discourse across the Global South.
