Feba Francis: Climate Scientist Specializing in large-Scale Circulation, Climate Variability and Sea-Ice
Feba Francis is a climate researcher focused on large-scale atmospheric and oceanic variability, with expertise in ENSO Dynamics, the Indian Summer Monsoon and Antarctic sea ice. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium, where she works on modelling the variability of Antarctic sea ice and its links to global climate systems.
Feba earned her PhD from the University of Hyderabad, India, where she studied decadal variability and prediction of tropical climate drivers, the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD). Her research has contributed to understanding the decadal prediction skill of the IOD.
