Lora Batino: Climate Change Adaptation Researcher & Geographer
Lora Batino is a researcher and geographer specializing in human–environment relations and climate change adaptation. She completed her Master of Science in Geography at the University of the Philippines Diliman, where she examined the intersection of environmental policy, community-based resource management, and natural resource governance to assess the sustainability of local-led conservation practices.
Her work bridges communities, academia, and national and international agencies, implementing capacity-building projects across the Philippines. Lora’s research emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to climate risk, policy, and adaptation practices in vulnerable regions of the Global South.
